Lots of excellent films were released in 1984, including but not limited to: Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Terminator, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Karate Kid, Footloose, Sixteen Candles, Dune, Amadeus, The Neverending Story, Police Academy, Beverly Hills Cop, NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind, Revenge of the Nerds, … just to name a few.
